How to Delete Your Data

Important: BildView stores all your data locally on your device. We do not store any of your personal data, photos, videos, or project information on our servers.

Delete Specific Content

To delete individual items within the app:

Delete a Photo or Video

  1. Open BildView on your device
  2. Navigate to the project containing the photo or video
  3. Tap on the step where the media is located
  4. Select the photo or video you want to delete
  5. Tap the delete button and confirm

Delete a Project Step

  1. Open the project containing the step
  2. Tap the options menu on the step tile
  3. Select "Delete Step" and confirm

Delete an Entire Project

  1. Open BildView and go to your Projects list
  2. Tap on the project you want to delete
  3. Tap the options menu (three dots) in the header
  4. Select "Delete Project" and confirm

This will permanently remove the project and all associated photos, videos, and step data.

Delete All App Data

To completely remove all BildView data from your device:

  1. Uninstall the BildView app from your device
  2. This removes all projects, photos, videos, templates, and settings

Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete content or uninstall the app, the following data is removed:

BildView does not store any of your data on external servers. This means:

Third-Party SDK Data

The Expo SDK may collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to help us improve app stability. This data does not contain your personal content (photos, projects, etc.) and is used solely for debugging purposes.
